Curcumin appeals to me as a natural option for managing discomfort related to joint stiffness. One meta-analysis found that curcumin may support feelings of relief for participants who do struggle with stiff joints. This soothing effect may stem from curcumin's ability to help reduce inflammation in and around the joint areas. A drawback of typical curcumin supplements is they absorb so poorly that the active ingredient may never make it to the joints.
